Accor Australia and New Zealand has earned a 5-Star Employer of Choice rating for the third consecutive year.
Adrian Williams, COO for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy Hotels in the Pacific, said “This achievement reflects our commitment to creating an inspiring and inclusive workplace where people can thrive and build meaningful careers.
“At Accor, we don’t just offer jobs – we offer careers with purpose. We are continually investing in our people, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our teams are the heart of Accor, and we are incredibly proud of what we are building together,” Williams said.
Accor was awarded the 5-star rating in the 500+ employees’ category by HRD ANZ following a rigorous two-part selection process. This includes assessing Accor’s team offerings and workplace practices, and an anonymous employee satisfaction survey.
To gain the top rating, Accor achieved an average satisfaction rating of at least 75 per cent.
Accor initiatives include the ‘Work Your Way’ program which offers team members personalised benefits. The hotel group also includes paid parental leave, a positive care statement, environmental responsibility programs, and social care and impact volunteering.
Accor’s Indigenous Careers Program has placed more than 2,500 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander team members into roles since its launch in 2015. To support career progression, the company has introduced scholarships for tertiary education, leadership programs, and pathways for Indigenous team members to take on senior leadership roles, including two newly appointed hotel general managers in the past six months.
In New Zealand, Accor has the Tangata Whenua Program to enhance career opportunities for young Māori.
