Anytime Fitness has reached a new milestone – 800,000 members across Australia, equating to one in 27 adults.

The 24/7 chain has 630 locations, with 61 per cent of Australia’s population living within three kilometres of a club. It claims a 21.4 per cent market share, and revenue growth of 12.6 per cent over the past 12 months.

Anytime Fitness also recently scooped the Franchise Group/Brand of the Year award at the 2026 AUSactive National Awards.

Simon Thompson, Anytime Fitness Australia MD, said the achievements are a result of the dedication of the whole network, across the support office, franchisees and club teams.

“Achieving these milestones proves that our focus on accessibility, convenience, and creating Australia’s most welcoming gym environment is delivering real value to hundreds of thousands of Australians using movement to stay connected and healthy,” Thompson said.

“With growing demand for healthier lifestyles and strength training across all ages, it puts us in a solid position to keep building towards our 800-club and one-million-member targets.”

With 50 new club openings and 119 existing clubs refreshed nationally, the business is on track to reach these long-term targets by 2030.

The brand’s market-leading footprint reflects its global impact; Anytime Fitness now has the largest physical gym presence worldwide with 6,000 clubs.
