Barry Plant has welcomed back a familiar face, appointing former team member Megan Kimpton to lead franchise development in property management.
Mark Lynch, Barry Plant’s head of growth, said “When we restructured our growth team at the end of 2024, we knew we needed a specialist in the property management space. Megan has stepped into that role seamlessly, playing a key part in positioning Barry Plant for a landmark year of growth and recruitment in 2025.
“Our focus is on expanding our network and team in a deliberate, sustainable way—through thoughtful, strategic decisions—and Megan will be a tremendous asset in driving that vision forward,” Lynch said.
Kimpton has been in real estate since leaving school at 18, and her experience includes training manager at Barry Plant, head of learning and development, and general manager at a real estate franchisee firm.
“I loved my time at Barry Plant, but I left for an amazing opportunity where I gained more experience, continued to learn and grow,” Kimpton said. “I’m thrilled to be back. I missed having the ability to drive meaningful, large-scale change at a corporate level,” she said.
Barry Plant CEO Lisa Pennell said Kimpton is “exactly the kind of talent I want on my team” and is already having an impact in the business.
Kimpton will work closely with offices, foster collaboration, and identify opportunities to enhance both business performance and individual careers.
“Our goal for 2025 is to see substantial growth in property management and sales—both internally and externally. We want to help our people gain the confidence and skills to take their careers to the next level,” Kimpton said.
