Retail tyre chain Bob Jane T-Marts will open its newest store in Belmont, just 15 minutes from Perth’s CBD.
Bob Jane T-Marts CEO Rodney Jane said Western Australia expansion is an important part of the company’s plans as the region sees further population growth.
“Western Australia has been a crucial part of the Bob Jane T-Marts family since joining with Toms Tyres in November 1999. The opening of Belmont increases our presence in Perth to 18 stores,” Jane said.
“Of course, Perth has a growing urban population, but there’s also a huge appetite for four-wheel driving and off-roading.”
Growing footprint in WA
Bob Jane T-Marts national retail manager Tony Stepic said there will be lots of local excitement for the store opening.
“The new store is in a thriving suburb, with a range of industries and residential areas surrounding it.
“Plus, its location on the corner of the Great Eastern Highway and Hardey Road is highly visible and easily accessible, so drivers will be able to head in on their way into work or to the city.”
The Bob Jane T-Marts brand was established in 1964 in the Sydney suburb of Haberfield. The first franchised outlet opened eight years later in Artarmon, on Sydney’s North Shore.
Today there are 134 Bob Jane T-Marts stores Australia-wide and the business employs more than 1000 people.
