Bricks 4 Kidz master franchisee plans national footprint

Bricks Kidz national goal

Sue Pamboris, the Australian master franchisee for global education program Bricks 4 Kidz, plans to extend the brand’s footprint across Australia.

“My goal definitely is to have centres in every state. I want to make the Bricks 4 Kidz brand more visible and increase brand awareness in the local communities,” Pamboris said.

There are currently 23 territories, with most of the franchisees operating a mobile business, and six physical centres.

“I definitely see that would be our strength and advantage. Our competitors all operate mobile businesses and this is our difference – we offer physical centres too,” Pamboris said.

While she has big ambitions for the brand,Pamboris is taking a measured approach to growth. Her focus is on maintaining the brand’s excellent standards of service.

“We stand out from the competition because of our high quality – that’s something we need to hold on to quite tightly. Parents recognise us as a brand that teaches high quality workshops and classes,” she said.

Bricks 4 Kidz, which arrived in Australia in 2014, provides a Lego-based STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths) program of learning that harnesses creativity and curiosity in kids.

“The previous master franchisee has done a fantastic job creating suitable programs for the Australian market and it’s been proven over a decade. It’s really working well.”

Pamboris took on the master role earlier this year after running her own successful two-franchise business, with a track record of year-on-year revenue growth.

“I never really like pushing sales when I talk to customers; I think what they would like for their children. I think the trust is quite important in this business, whether that is between the franchise and the franchisee, or between the client and the brand,” she said.
