Australian pharmacy chain Chemist Warehouse has unveiled its first European store, opening an outlet in Blanchardstown, Ireland.
Mario Tascone, the group’s director, said “We are thrilled to open the doors to our first European store. It is a landmark day for the Chemist Warehouse Group and we couldn’t be happier. It is always such a huge undertaking to open a store in a new market, let alone during a global pandemic.
“We are proud that we can finally welcome our Blanchardstown customers and show them the true passion and commitment of the Chemist Warehouse team and massive range of affordable products,” he added.
The inaugural Irish store will bring a taste of well-known Aussie brands to sit on the shelves alongside local merchandise, which includes health and wellness, beauty, fragrances, baby and cosmetics ranges.
The pharmacy chain already operates more than 450 stores across Australia, 16 in New Zealand and one in China.
