Multi-brand franchisor Craveable Brands has appointed Jamie Stewart to the CEO role at Chicken Treat.

Stewart joins the Perth-based brand from Sushi Sushi where he spent almost a decade in leadership roles. He was national operations manager, commercial development director, director of operations, and most recently, COO, a role he took on in May 2024.

Tim  Fawaz, interim group CEO at Craveable Brands, said “Jamie’s impressive track record and understanding of franchise development, business growth, and partner success makes him an ideal leader to take Chicken Treat into its next chapter.

Fawaz said Stewart’s extensive sector experience and strong operational expertise aligns with the company’s vision for Chicken Treat.

Stewart described Chicken Treat as an icon in Western Australia. ”I look forward to working closely with our franchise  partners and the wider team at Chicken Treat to continue delivering great food for our customers,” he said.

Stewart began his career with McDonald’s; he managed operations and business development in NSW and ACT for 14 years.

The newly-appointed CEO takes over from Mimma Battista, who has led Chicken Treat since 2014. Battista’s more-than-20-year hospitality career includes nine years as state manager for WA, SA and NT at Gloria Jean’s Coffees.
