The long-established D32 Business Network has appointed its first franchisee, on the Sunshine Coast, just three months after launching the model as a franchise.
Co-founder and director Lorraine Garvie expects to add a further three franchise partners this year.
There are just 20 territories available across the country, excluding Western Australia where the 10-year-old business is based.
D32 Business Network has 350 customers in Perth, and 50 members who are part of three licensed groups or circles on the Gold Coast.
Members include trades and manufacturing businesses but are predominantly service providers whose customer base is driven by referrals.
A three-tiered 12-month membership provides fortnightly events, education and learning, and one-on-one meetings.
Garvie said the educational focus marks the brand out from other networking groups.
“We deliver a lot more education on business in our network – and it’s not just about sales. Our expert speakers talk on subjects vary from creating a CRM to how to work with AI.”
The business model provides multiple revenue stream including event sponsorships and speaking spots.
“We provide a platform for business owners to connect and people join us for better business,” Garvie said.
