Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has appointed Dieter Haberl as CEO for Domino’s Japan, effective 20 October 2025.

Haberl has more than 25 years of C-suite experience in Japan with local and multi-national consumer-facing brands. He has held leadership roles at Toys R Us, Reebok, Lacoste and Furla, and notched up more than 10 years with Coca-Cola in Japan and Germany.

Domino’s executive chair Jack Cowin said he is delighted to have Haberl on board.

“He has a track record of consistently delivering large-scale transformation, brand repositioning, and team development across complex, consumer-facing operations.”

Cowin said Japan is a major market for the business and Haberl’s experience with high-quality brands and building brand loyalty will help drive Domino’s success.

Haberl replaces acting Domino’s Japan CEO Josh Kilimnik, who will see the brand through the leadership transition.

Kilimnik, who is also Domino’s Asia CEO, will leave the business by 30 March. The roles of Asia CEO and the vacant Europe CEO are ending in a regional leadership restructure, part of company-wide general and administrative cost reductions.

Domino’s intends the new structure to give local markets the responsibility and accountability of making decisions in-market, closer to customers.

Kilimnik, who is recognised in Domino’s Hall of Fame, has held leadership roles in Domino’s Pizza Enterprises and Domino’s Pizza International for more than two decades. He has worked in Australia/New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa, and South-East Asia.

Cowin said “On behalf of the board I would like to thank Josh for his significant contribution to Domino’s – not just DPE, but to the Domino’s brand globally, and to wish him well in the next stage of his career.”
