FCA postpones NFC 2021

The Franchise Council of Australia’s annual event, the National Franchise Convention, has been postponed from its late August scheduled date to October 2021.

The call to move the date has been caused by the ongoing disruption of Covid restrictions and border closures as Victoria and New South Wales remain in protracted lockdowns, South Australia employs a snap seven-day shut down and three regional NSW towns are under stay-home orders.

NFC21 will now be held on 27-28 October at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre. In conjunction with NFC21, the FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards Gala Dinner will be now held on the evening of the 27 October.

Attendees to the NFC21 event will hear from keynote speakers, plenary panels discussing vital franchising issues, and learn practical information on a broad range of topics in concurrent sessions.

The theme of this year’s two-day conference is A New World, A New Direction.
