Food franchisor ST Group is set to launch four brands in one location, with one franchisee at the helm.
This is a brand new concept that will sit in the upcoming retail space Brookfield Place at Wynyard in Sydney’s CBD.
ST Group general manager Jian Hui Lee is overseeing the project. He told Inside Franchise Business Executive “This is the first time we have included four brands into one location, and the site is owned by the franchisee. For this concept, it will be a shared space for the kitchen and dining area.
“We will utilise self ordering kiosks and order ahead (mobile order) as the main ordering system for our customers.”
ST Group has a portfolio of eight brands and the new venue will combine four of these together.
“You will be able to have Korean fried chicken, curry laksa and cheese tart in one bill without the hassle of ordering from different platforms,” he said.
“There are huge advantages to this model where our aim is to have high efficiency in labour management and provide customers with different dining experience. We are also able to catered to a wider demographic.
“This will be our first model and I do see more of this concept in the future especially with more sites up for lease in shopping centres or street shops.”
The Brookfield Place concept store will feature PappaRich, NeNe Chicken, Hokkaido Cheese Tarts, and dessert chain Kurimu.
Brookfield Place is $2 billion mixed-used precinct. Brands signed up to the new dual-level retail space set to open from July 2021 include Priceline, T2, Sydney Barbers and sushi burger restaurant Gojima.
