Genesis Health & Fitness has unveiled a Recovery space at its Kelmscott site, for its premium members.
Recovery is designed to help members recover faster, reduce stress, and enhance their overall health and wellbeing. Treatments include infrared saunas, red-light therapy, meditation pods, massage chairs and recovery boots.
The Recovery zone fits a 60-75sqm space, which accommodates more than 10 members at a time. however it can be modified to work in a 50sqm space.
Tahnee Donkin, national fitness manager of Genesis Health + Fitness, said “By integrating advanced recovery solutions, we aim to increase member value, reduce injury-related suspensions, and attract a broader wellness-focused audience, reinforcing Genesis as a leader in holistic fitness.”
Recovery is exclusive to premium members alongside the Coaching Zone group training and Reformer Pilates offerings.
Ian Jensen-Muir, CEO of Genesis Health + Fitness, said “At Genesis Health + Fitness, our commitment to delivering premium fitness experiences drives every decision we make. We continue to expand our Reformer Pilates studios nationally, elevate our in-club experiences, and evolve our Coaching Zone programming to focus on fitness, strength, and conditioning.”
Depending on the success of the first Recovery zone, the concept may be rolled out further across the network.
