Young entrepreneurs with an emerging business that could become the next hot franchise brand are being encouraged to enter the NextGen in Franchising competition.
It’s an opportunity for founders aged 21 to 35, with a business that’s been trading between one and five years and could scale to franchising, to get access to successful entrepreneurs, executives, experts and financiers in the franchise industry.
Winners of the Australian contest will go on to compete against international business owners at the finals held in the US.
They will also attend the two-day educational and networking program NextGen in Franchising Summit, gain access to a 90-day accelerator program working with CEOs and industry experts, have the opportunity to present the business concept on stage and participate in a workshop conducted by The Shark Group’s InnerVation Lab.
All three finalists from Australia last year were sponsored by the FCA to attend the NextGen in Franchising Summit and Accelerator program at the 2017 IFA Convention: winner David Lindsay of Salts of the Earth, and finalists Bao Hoang of Rolld and Nik Leigh of Real Estate Photography .
David Lindsay said “For me, winning the Australian NextGen competition has been, and will always be one of my top career achievements and highlights.”
The FCA Octomedia NextGen competition is supported by the FCA Hall of Fame.
Entries close 1 September so there is still time to submit an entry, just register at nextgenfranchising.org
