The 24/7 gym chain Jetts Fitness has big plans for this year. It has opened six clubs in six weeks, taking its Australian footprint to 129 gyms.
Stefanie Nicholson, head of marketing at Jetts Fitness Australia, told Franchise Executives, the business is ahead of its growth goals.
“We opened six clubs in 2025 and have another six opening in the next six weeks, with 10 more in the pipeline to launch this year. Our franchise sales goal is 20 for 2026, and we’ve already achieved more than 50 per cent of that target by March,” Nicholson said.
The chain’s buyout from Fitness & Lifestyle Group three years ago kickstarted more aggressive growth, she said.
“We took the time to refine our strategy and lay the right foundations, and we’re now seeing the results, not only in franchise sales, but in member growth across the country.
“Our ambition is to continue expanding our national footprint; there is still significant opportunity across Australia. At the same time, we’re evolving our product offering to better support the full member journey, which means introducing larger-format clubs. Jetts Fitness Peregian is a great example of this next chapter for us.”
The Peregian Springs club on the Sunshine Coast is an existing Jetts location that has undergone a major transformation, shifting to a new, much larger site.
The expanded site launches instructor-led Reformer Pilates classes, a recovery space which includes massage chairs and sauna, and expanded class programming and training zones.
Peregian Springs is operated by long-time franchisees Matt and Tracey Browne.
