Jetts Fitness has created a franchising group, BeWell Brands, to take the business into the wellness sector, and has announced its first partnership.

The joint venture with New Zealand’s O-Studio will see the recovery and wellness concept debut in Australia in early 2026.

Jetts Fitness boss Elaine Jobson is CEO and managing director of BeWell Brands.

“The launch of O-Studio in Australia is an exciting milestone for us. It marks the first step in our growth beyond Jetts Fitness,” Jobson said.

“BeWell Brands is focused on working with like-minded businesses in the health, fitness and wellbeing space. We are proud to have O-Studio onboard for our first joint venture partnership.

“O-Studio has already proven its success across New Zealand with 13 franchises sold and we are thrilled to be introducing this innovative concept to Australia,” she said.

“This joint venture represents the future of wellness by bringing together fitness, recovery, and wellbeing in a way that truly benefits our communities.”

O-Studio founded out of personal experience

O-Studio provides treatments including float therapy, traditional and infrared sauna, hot and cold plunge, ice bath, and massage.

Former Crusaders rugby player and Maori All Blacks captain Tim Bateman founded the business.

Bateman’s personal journey into recovery and wellness began when his wife Laura was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in her mid-20s. The couple discovered flotation therapy during her treatment in Singapore.

Bateman created O-Studio as a training ground for mental performance and physical recovery in a community-minded setting.

“My own journey through professional rugby and supporting Laura with her MS diagnosis taught me firsthand how important it is to invest in wellbeing. It wasn’t my body that held me back, it was the weight of life’s pressures. Learning to step back and recover made all the difference on and off the field,” Bateman said.

“We are incredibly excited to bring O-Studio to Australia,” he said.

Jetts has more than 250 clubs worldwide, with master franchises in the UK and the Netherlands. It will enter the Indian market later this year.
