The Jetts Fitness brand will launch in India, spearheading its expansion with experienced country partners.

Elaine Jobson, managing director and CEO of Jetts Fitness said India represents a “tremendous opportunity” for the brand.

“With increasing awareness of health and fitness, our model of convenience and accessibility aligns perfectly with the lifestyle of today’s consumers,” Jobson said.

“We are excited to bring Jetts to India and build a strong community of health-conscious individuals. Our master franchisee team in India have ambitious plans for expansion through franchising and are committed to making high-quality fitness more accessible.”

Master franchisees Nishant Singh, Ashish Malik, and Rahul Raghuvanshi bring extensive experience in fitness, franchising, and business operations.

They will launch the Jetts brand in multiple locations across key cities, adding to the brand’s international footprint. Jetts already has 250 gyms across Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Thailand, and the UK.

In 2023 there were almost 90,000 gyms across India. But with just 0.5 per cent penetration there is plenty of room for growth. According to market research firm The India Watch, the local gym industry generated a total revenue of US$1.15 billion in 2023. The researchers expect revenue to reach US$2.5 billion by 2028.

Jetts Fitness’ expansion into India will introduce its signature customer centric offering. This includes no lock-in contracts, flexible access, and value-for-money membership options.

Jetts Fitness joins international brands Gold’s Gym, Anytime Fitness and Snap Fitness, in a market dominated by local franchise chain Cult Fit.

Beyond India, Jetts has an aggressive five-year international expansion plan, targeting key markets across the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
