In-home aged care and disability support business Just Better Care Australia has appointed Lee Walsh as CEO.
Walsh succeeds Alison Chandler, the outgoing CEO, who held the role for the past 13 years. During her tenure Chandler was responsible for significant growth that helped shape the organisation.
Just Better Care is part of the Caring Brands International portfolio and Walsh joins from sibling brand Bluebird Care UK & Ireland.
Walsh brings experience that includes franchising, consumer healthcare, retail and professional services.
Jonathan Gardner, global CEO at Caring Brands International, said “Lee brings a powerful blend of vision, experience and empathy. His leadership will strengthen the Just Better Care brand while driving new opportunities in a rapidly changing aged care and disability support landscape.”
Just Better Care supports more than 5000 customers through 55 franchise territories across Australia.
Walsh said his priority is to build on the organisation’s strong foundations and support franchise partners to meet rising community needs.
“Just Better Care succeeds because we’re local, built on relationships with customers, families and communities. My priority is to deepen that trust while helping more people access the support they need to live safely and independently at home,” Walsh said.
