The UK-based children’s early-education brand Little Messy Learners has appointed its Hobart franchisee to lead growth in Australia.
Brooke Finisetti has owned the Hobart franchise since 2021 and was previously lead educator and acting director at Green Leaves Early Education Centre.
Finisetti takes on the role as Little Messy Learners’ founder Rachel Fay-Sedgwick takes maternity leave.
On LinkedIn, Fay-Sedgwick praised Finisetti for her overall support of the brand which arrived in Australia in 2018.
“Supporting franchisees across Australia, helping train our UK network, contributing to systems and processes, managing socials, and bringing ideas, energy, and genuine care into everything she does,” Fay-Sedgwick wrote.
The franchisor admitted it has been difficult to run the business from overseas.
“Expanding internationally meant learning a whole new way of franchising,” she said. “Running a franchise as a franchisor without a master franchisee, on opposite sides of the world is hard.
“So I couldn’t be happier to share that Brooke is about to step into the role of Master Franchisee for Little Messy Learners Australia.”
Little Messy Learners has four franchises across the country, one each in Tasmania, Victoria, ACT and Western Australia.
