Real estate business LJ Hooker opened eight offices from late 2024 to early 2025.
The 97-year-old company opened offices across Australia: Liverpool and Parramatta in New South Wales, in Sunbury and Paynesville/Lakes Entrance/Metung in Victoria, Mudgeeraba and Morayfield/Caboolture in Queensland.
Two new locations were unveiled in New Zealand, at Waikato and Auckland.
LJ Hooker’s head of growth, Jarita Rayasam, said these openings are testament to the brand’s competitive positioning.
“We have started 2025 with incredible momentum and energy, onboarding new franchisees, expanding offices and adding new locations to our growing network,” Rayasam said. “It’s been thrilling to work with such a committed and enthusiastic cohort of real estate agents aiming to match vendors with buyers and investors with new tenants.”
Rebrand helps grow LJ Hooker footprint
LJ Hooker general manager marketing. Stephan Gervois, points to the new LJ Hooker brand identity, The Difference, as an influential element in the company’s success.
“By embracing our iconic brand and signature tri-colour flag, we have crafted an unmistakable identity that stands out in the market.
“By equipping our network with a premium brand, our franchisees stand out from the pack when consumers are choosing which real estate agent to entrust with their property,” he said. “In turn, our agents will be able to better communicate how we consistently achieve the best results, how straightforward and transparent our process is and how professional we are.”
New LJ Hooker Sunbury franchisee Adam Elsherif explained his decision to convert from an independent business. “In Sunbury and surrounding areas, most homeowners are familiar with the LJ Hooker name, and our own research showed people were more open to business under a rebrand than if we stayed an independent office,” Elsherif said.
“We had already started shifting our business to the area, with around 80 per cent of our tock in Sunbury. It started with a land development and the business has grown through word of mouth from there, so it made sense to relocate here and start a new chapter.”
