Retail chain Miniso has unveiled its largest flagship store in Hong Kong at Plaza Hollywood. The novelty retail store has a 4,300 sq ft footprint and is the third in the region.

Last year Miniso shifted its Hong Kong business to a directly-operated market and plans to swiftly expand the store network to reach a 100-store milestone.

Over the last year globally Miniso has boosted its footprint by 1,116 stores to a total of 6,630 stores. It has 39 stores across Australia.

The group’s overseas revenue for the first quarter of 2024 rose 53 per cent, year-on-year.

The novelty retail chain plans expansion with more high-traffic stores, large-scale stores, IP-themed stores, and super-themed retail outlets.

IP collaboration is key to the Miniso retail profile, and the Guangzhou, China-based business promises significant upcoming alliances.
