Motto Motto has appointed its first franchisees for New South Wales.

This partnership kicks off franchising in New South Wales, which began in Queensland at the end of 2020.

In November last year the brand’s first franchisees Frank Jiang, Linda Zhang, Jason Yan and Brandon Choi opened the doors to their Westfield Carindale, Brisbane restaurant.

The inaugural New South Wales franchisees Trang Tran and Ajay Shrkar will take on the Castle Towers Motto Motto restaurant.

The pair are excited to get started, saying “We feel very lucky to have joined Motto Motto as early franchise partners, we can see they have a recipe for success, and we can’t wait to introduce more people at Castle Towers to our  delicious ramen, rice and curry dishes.”

Chief operating officer Matt Fickling said, “Trang and Ajay bring a new level of sophistication to franchising at Motto Motto, being experienced operators with a food background and having a love of premium dining. We are super excited for them to become part of Motto Motto’s inner sanctum.”

The Japanese-cuisine restaurant chain is on a roll right now, with the recent announcement of a further two company-owned outlets at Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast and Marrickville Metro in Sydney set to open in the first half of 2021.
