Muffin Break, Jamaica Blue award top performers

A franchisee who first began with the Jamaica Blue brand as a 14-year-old team member has won the brand’s top national award at the recent Foodco celebrations.

Parent company Foodco recently celebrated its top performers across Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue at a gala dinner with more than 400 franchisees, team members and partners from Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Anita Le and her mum, Anne, from Jamaica Blue Riverton in Western Australia, scooped the Jamaica Blue Trans-Tasman Franchisee of the Year award.

Foodco CEO Richard Goodman said “Anita is such a shining example of what a franchisee with incredible passion, amazing service, and broad thinking can achieve. You can feel the passion for what she does when you walk in the store and we’re incredibly privileged to have her as part of our brand and network.”

Multi-unit franchisees Colin and Serena of Muffin Break Cairns Central, Queensland, were named Muffin Break Franchisee of the Year – Australia. Last year their second location won the Retail Excellence Award.

Goodman said, “Colin and Serena have been part of our network for such a long time, and it’s incredibly humbling to see them recognized for all of their hard work and dedication to both their business and the brand.

“Colin sits on our franchise executive committee and has been integral in the forward strategy for the brand. I thank him and Serena for their continued support for both Muffin Break and the broader Foodco network.”
