Muffin Break kicks off $50K fundraising campaign for sick kids

Foodco’s Muffin Break is launching a fundraising campaign in partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Throughout May, $1 from every specially-created Starlight Muffin sold will go to Starlight. Customers can also make a $2 donation in-store.

The goal is to raise $50,000 to help support Starlight’s vital programs in hospitals nationwide.

It is part of the annual appeal by the charity, which aims to raise $1.95 million by 30 June.

Muffin Break’s head of brand, Kathryn Clift, said “We’re so honoured to be partnering with Starlight Children’s Foundation this May. We’re delighted to play a small part in making a meaningful impact alongside our customers and teams.”

Funds raised will go towards Starlight’s essential hospital programs, which help brighten the days of seriously ill children through play, entertainment and moments of joy.
