South Australian fuel, retail and convenience group OTR opens its 155th store this week as part of an ongoing expansion program.

Six new stores will open in the coming months. Locations include Gepps Cross, Murray Bridge, Aberfoyle Park, Mount Gambier and, across the Victorian border, in Mildura.

In 2019 there were 14 new stores opened. Darryl Cotter, OTR GM , said the latest opening affirms the company’s commitment to further investment.

“We are a passionate South Australian family business which is proud to be generating jobs and investing in the future of South Australia,” Cotter said.

The award-winning retailer is one of South Australia’s largest private sector employers already employing more than 3,100 locals.

OTR Salisbury North will open its doors on Thursday 23 July, creating 15 much-needed retail positions for the local community.

The multi-million-dollar premises will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and feature a curated range of supermarket essentials, a premium range of Advantage fuel, and OTR brands with fresh food from EAT and frozen drinks by CHILL.

Customers will also be able to enjoy new offerings including Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

“We aim to treat our customers to a seamless and easy in-store experience, offering the very best in convenience retailing with our award-winning fuel and food offers, plus many added extras,” Cotter said.

Customers are also encouraged to help OTR give back to community groups through the OTRGive program, using the OTR App. Every time a customer shops or refuels at OTR with the OTR App, the company makes a donation on their behalf to their community group of choice – at no cost to the customer. Donations to the community through OTRGive have exceeded $295,000.
