A quick service restaurant franchise has raised $94m in its acquisition of a US-based fast food operator.
Restaurant Brands New Zealand has successfully funded $94m for the purchase of Pacific Island Restaurants, the largest fast-food operator in Hawaii with 82 Taco Bell and Pizza Hut stores.
A report by Inside Retail says the brand expects to complete the $US105m purchase of Pacific Island Restaurants by late December.
Auckland-based Restaurant Brands bought the biggest KFC franchisee in New South Wales in March.
