Functional fitness chain Revl Training has launched in Taiwan, opening its first studio in the densely populated Da’an area in Taipei.
The Taiwan studio takes the fitness business into its eighth international market, and follows recent expansion into Vietnam and Malaysia. Revl now has more than 50 studios operating globally.
Ben Woolford, co-founder, Revl Training, said “Taiwan has always been a highly strategic market for us. Globally, we’re seeing a shift towards structured, coaching-led training experiences where progression and community hold the same weight.
“Taiwan has an incredibly engaged fitness culture, and we’re excited to introduce the Revl methodology to a market that’s ready for it.”
Revl has partnered with an existing franchisee in Singapore, Hasan Muhammad, to lead the expansion.
“Before we became Revl operators, we trained the product. We experienced firsthand the strength of the training model and the community around it, which gave us the conviction to bring Revl to Singapore and now Taiwan,” Muhammad said.
“Functional training is gaining real momentum here, but we saw a clear gap for a more structured, progression-led experience.”
Revl plans at least 100 studios globally by 2028, with a focus on sustainable international growth through multi-site operators.
