Good on you, RFG. The food franchisor Retail Food Group has stepped in to support a charity left without its $50,000 promised donation from a major sponsor, the collapsed electronics retailer Dick Smith.
Now RFG has committed equal funding to Epilepsy Action Australia and will support the charity’s annual fundraising Purple Day campaign across the franchise network.
Andre Nell, RFG CEO, said the move aligns with the company’s plan to expand its corporate social responsibility activities.
“We are proud to be in a position to step in and support Epliepsy Action Australia for the tireless work they do to support people living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.
“After experiencing rapid growth over the past 18 months, RFG is committed to expanding the reach of its CSR activities in 2016 under our not-for-profit foundation, With Heart.”
