Set 30 Studio (S30) is opening its first New South Wales outlet on 15 April, in Sydney’s Surry Hills.
S30x Surry Hills is the Perth-based brand’s ninth studio to open. It adds to S30’s rapidly expanding footprint, with recent openings across Western Australia and Queensland building the national network. Overseas there is one studio in Singapore.
The fitness chain offers exhilarating, high impact workouts in a low light, loud bass environment. Members power through 30 sets in 35 minutes using S30’s distinct weight, tempo and time technique.
S30 Studio CEO and co-founder, Luke Faulkner, said Surry Hills’ community and culture reflect the brand’s ethos.
S30’s first Sydney studio set for Surry Hills
“Surry Hills is the beating heart of Sydney’s music, arts and dining culture; and these are all the lifestyle traits we embody and promote at S30. For us, it’s about keeping fitness exciting and that’s what keeps our members coming back day in and day out. It made complete sense to us to launch our first ever S30 Sydney studio in a neighbourhood where we’d feel right at home,” said Faulkner.
“It’s a milestone moment to welcome our one-of-a-kind S30 experience to Sydney. We have no doubt that our unique workout experience will resonate with Sydneysiders the same way it has with over 700 members across Australia. We are already planning our next studio in the city area,” he said.
S30x Surry Hills franchisee Matt Cook echoed Faulkner’s view of the importance of the local community.
“I have no doubt the Sydney community will fall in love with the atmosphere of our Surry Hills studio,” said Cook.
“The S30 difference isn’t just the low-lights and loud-bass environment, it’s also the community each session in the studio aims to build. S30 Surry Hills is a haven of inclusivity,” he said.
He said S30 ties together a personable experience with a great workout.
S30 last year secured $2.2m funding to help with its expansion. The business started in 2019, and launched its franchise offer in 2021.
