San Churro has appointed former Minor DKL chief growth officer Jarrod Appleby to the role of chief operating officer.
Kerri Wane, CEO, San Churro, told Franchise Executives “We have appointed a new COO as a part of the wider plan to bolster our leadership team to further support San Churro’s significant growth and transformation agenda.
“Jarrod will play a key role in ensuring that San Churro remains the number one sweet treat experience wherever we play; spearheading rapid network growth into new geographies (regional, metro, New Zealand and beyond) and playing a key role in driving innovation across the business.”
Wane described Appleby as “a highly respected franchise food and beverage executive who is known in the industry as an innovator and collaborator”.
Appleby was with The Coffee Club parent Minor DKL Food Group for nearly 12 years. His roles included HR and general manager for international and emerging brands.
Wane said “We believe that Jarrod has the right experience and capability and this coupled with his personal leadership style will ensure that he makes a huge contribution to the business over the coming years.”
