Snap Fitness is to tread new ground with a gym opening in Cairns set for February 2025.
The launch into the multi-million-dollar redeveloped Raintrees Shopping Centre takes the 24/7 gym into Far North Queensland. Franchisees Nathan and Angie Daley will head up the new gym.
Snap Fitness national sales manager Gabe Condello said the entry into the Cairns market is driven by strong population growth and heightened demand for secure access fitness facilities.
“We are thrilled to announce Snap Fitness’ entry into the Cairns market – it’s something we have been working on for a long time and now have a number of territories and sites selected,” Condello said.
“Given the population growth in Cairns and the active lifestyles of many, we wanted to be able to launch our brand when we could open more than just one club,” Condello said.
Plans are underway for a second gym in the region. Snap Fitness has more than 260 gyms across Australia.
In the past 12 months, Snap Fitness has experienced record franchise enquiry and new club openings.
