ASX-listed real estate business The Agency Group Australia has launched two branding options to attract more independent real estate agencies.

The Agency is headquartered in Perth and has launched the RightMove models in Western Australia after 18 months of tests. It has 11 agents on board, with conversions lined up, and expects to expand nationally within 12 months.

RightMove offers advanced proprietary technology and a suite of services including sales support, lead prospecting, database management, compliance management, home appraisal coordination and industrial relations advisory.

These broad-ranging services are delivered by a centralised support team and a digital dashboard using advanced third-party software.

The new brand also offers end-to-end property management, which The Agency already delivers nationally. This will relieve franchises from a labour intensive process, while remunerating the referring office.

In another step to make its offer a distinct model in the market, The Agency has set RightMove commission payments to be paid when a sale becomes unconditional rather than on completion of the transaction.

The Agency’s new brand options

The RightMove options are to operate wholly under the RightMove banner, or to create or keep a brand which will showcase as ‘Powered by RightMove’.

The Agency Group founder and executive director Paul Niardone said “The establishment of RightMove is all about servicing independent real estate offices with a better offering, alleviating cost burdens which eat into the bottom line.

“When looking at the opportunity before us, the numbers are compelling with the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) estimating the country has over 45,000 agencies of which 99 per cent are considered small business operators.

“This combined pool of real estate offices manage billions in transactions each year – many of which have a genuine interest in streamlining administration and focusing only on listing and selling properties.”
