The Cheesecake Shop’s newest franchise location at Sydney’s Marsden Park is a landmark for the 34-year-old sweet treat chain; it’s the 250th store for the brand.

The new store is the 47th in New South Wales for The Cheesecake Shop, which has opened 15 bakeries in the last 18 months across Australia and New Zealand, and has more than 10 locations set to open.

Scott Bush, The Cheesecake Shop CEO, said the milestone is a testament to the brand’s strength and to its franchisees.

“Opening our 250th store is an incredibly proud milestone, but what makes it truly meaningful is the story behind it,” Bush said. “Franchise Partners like Nidhi are the heart and soul of The Cheesecake Shop, and their passion, dedication and drive to deliver joy to their communities is what fuels our success.”

Nidhi Sharma will open the doors to her new store on 12 April.

“This isn’t just a business to me, it’s the realisation of a 12-year dream,” Sharma said. “For more than a decade I’ve worked in customer service across Coles, Aldi and Subway, but my dream has always been to have something of my own.

“To be given this opportunity to pour my heart and soul into a place that literally plates up
happiness, is everything.”
