Premium barbershop Truefitt & Hill expands its presence in Australia, and is ready to step into the New Zealand marketplace.

The barbership brand was established in London in 1805 as a traditional gentlemen’s barber and perfumer and in 2000 was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest barber’s business.

Backed by more than 200 years of trading history, Truefitt & Hill is now a familiar brand in Asia, India and Australia and will expand into new markets this year.  The brand plans to extend its footprint into New Zealand with an exclusive opportunity available in key cities of the North and South Island.

Franchise consultancy firm DC Strategy has partnered with Truefitt & Hill to recruit candidates to further expand on the brand’s current footprint in Australia – stores in Melbourne’s Collins Street, and in Canberra.

In addition to its barbers’ services the stores offer further grooming treatments such as facial masks and head massages, and a range of premium grooming products including a full line of shaving fragrance, hair and bath items.

Franchisees will be backed by an international team and head office.

The Truefitt & Hill barbershop business joins , ManCave, Tommy Guns and the Salon Express’ model Barbershop Express as niche barbers’ franchise models operating in Australia.
