Zarraffa’s Coffee has opened its first drive-thru in regional Far North Queensland. The newest store in Ayr is the 11th to showcase the coffee chain’s compact store footprint.

Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Marnie Sheldon, said the new store reflects the company’s commitment to reaching regional and rural communities.

“Ayr is the perfect example of a vibrant rural community that is primed for the same high-quality products and service you would find in metropolitan locations. We’re thrilled to be setting up shop in this region,” Sheldon said.

“The refined model supports our continued growth plans into untapped and untraditional locations, including regional towns like Ayr. It allows us to be nimbler with site selection and operate with a smaller footprint while delivering the full menu and exceptional service our customers know and love.”

While the Ayr site will service predominantly grab-and-go customers through its drive-thru, it also features a walk-up window and outdoor seating area.
