Zarraffa’s Coffee has hit a mega milestone with the opening of its 80th store. The drive-thru site in Logan Village is helmed by multi-site franchisee Leah Meares and her husband Jason.

The Leares family also operates Zarraffa’s Coffee at Loganlea and Yamanto.

“We’ve waited a long time for this,” Leah Meares said. “Logan Village has always been the dream location as this community is our backyard. We live nearby in Buccan, our kids go to school locally and we’re not just building a business here, we’re building with the community.”

Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Marnie Sheldon, said the Logan Village store represents the brand’s continued investment in the Logan growth corridor.

“This is an incredibly exciting pocket of SEQ, and Logan Village is booming. The area is transforming from a rural precinct to a vibrant hub for families, commuters and small business, and we’re proud to be part of
that momentum,” Sheldon said.

“Leah and Jason are the perfect operators to lead that charge, and this is an exciting milestone for their family as they open the doors to their third store. They have been a part of the Zarraffa’s family for over 13 years and are proud brand ambassadors with a strong passion for the community.”

The Meares’ business now has 85 team members across all their stores and contributing to the region’s economy.

“We’re not just offering new jobs, our family business is supporting other families, and that sense of care
and connection is what sets us apart,” Meares said.

Zarraffa’s Coffee developed its drive-thru store concept in 2009 at Worongary; in 2023 it unveiled the first iteration of its drive-thru evolution in Beaudesert.
