7-Eleven Australia has launched a retail media network, giving brands new opportunities to reach shoppers across its stores, loyalty program and digital channels.
Dubbed Anytime Media @ 7-Eleven, the network is being positioned as Australia’s first dedicated convenience retail media network. It will combine in-store advertising with customer data and digital touchpoints through the retailer’s My 7-Eleven loyalty program.
Digital screens are being rolled out across stores, with further expansion planned for next year. The network will offer advertising opportunities designed to reach consumers throughout the path to purchase, from brand awareness through to conversion in-store.
“7-Eleven has millions of weekly customer interactions, the strongest product launch and recruitment offer in the market and a thriving loyalty platform. It’s on this strong platform that Anytime Media @ 7-Eleven will boost advertiser campaigns and better connect with target audiences,” said Anthony Venuto, GM commercial services at 7-Eleven Australia, who leads Anytime Media.
The retailer operates more than 760 stores across Australia and processes around 4.6 million transactions each week, providing brands with access to a high-frequency convenience shopper base.
For suppliers, 7-Eleven said the network will provide opportunities to connect with consumers close to the point of purchase.
