On 10 June, World Franchise Day, Aramex is recognising top franchise partners across Australia and New Zealand.

Mark Little, regional director, Aramex Oceania, said “Franchising is our core operating philosophy. Our people are not simply contractors, they’re business owners who have chosen to invest in their communities. I believe that distinction matters enormously to how we operate and how our customers experience us.”

The Aramex awards recognise franchise partners who embody the vision of building the best business in each market.

  • Richie Mudaliar: Courier Franchisee of the Year, NZ (Tauranga). Richie scaled his territory over 10 years, always maintaining a hyper-local touch.
  • Aramex Canterbury: Regional Franchise of the Year, NZ (Canterbury) for outstanding supply chain management in the South Island.
  • Luke Stratton: Courier Franchisee of the Year (Runner-Up), AU (Burleigh, Gold Coast). Luke is a former school teacher, pivoted to logistics and used his educator skillset to build a top-tier customer relationship model in Burleigh.
  • Dean Pearce: Regional Franchise of the Year, AU (Sunshine Coast). Dean reframed his local depot as a collective of 22 individual business owners, skyrocketing revenue and increasing pickups by 35%.

Little said “Our franchisees are building businesses, employing people, and making decisions every day about how to best serve their customers. That’s where success comes from: the ownership and genuine stake in the outcome.

“When you have thousands of people across Australia and New Zealand who think and operate like business owners, you have a fundamentally different, more resilient kind of network.”

The Australia and New Zealand business operates a network of 40 regional franchises and more than 1,300 courier franchisees.
