Mad Mex has appointed a new CEO, effective immediately. Cameron Fincher brings a wealth of leadership experience across multiple industries, including quick-service restaurants (QSR), hospitality, and multinational consumer brands.
Fincher notched up nearly 12 years with Unilever, worked for KFC for more than nine years and most recently held a number of GM roles at Breville. He has led large-scale operations, transformative leadership initiatives, and high-performing teams.
Clovis Young, Mad Mex founder and managing director, said “Cameron’s extensive experience across a diverse range of businesses and categories makes him the perfect fit to continue our vision of building Australia’s most loved and respected Mexican food brand”.
Fincher steps in to the role vacated by Therese Frangie Jayawardene, who left the Mexican food chain after two years to take up the CEO position at Oporto.
Fincher said “I am thrilled to be joining Mad Mex at this stage of its journey. This is a brand with incredible foundations, exciting growth ambitions and passionate people. I look forward to working alongside the team to drive further growth, innovation, and an unbeatable customer experience whilst staying true to what makes Mad Mex so special.”
