Motto Motto is heading into new menu territory, introducing an innovative range of Japanese-inspired burgers.

Perhaps it’s no surprise, as COO Matt Fickling is the former CEO of Melbourne burger brand Huxtaburger. Fickling stepped up to the group chief operating officer role in February this year from his position as chief commercial officer.

Fickling said “Our chef-designed and Japanese inspired burgers include premium local ingredients backed by genuine food credentials – all for the same price of a standard at your local burger joint.

“We’re  excited to be launching this new product category to support our restaurants and support our  franchisees. ”

The young franchise, known primarily for its bowls of rice, ramen and curry, aims to bring a new standard to casual dining.

The brand is starting out by celebrating International Cheeseburger Day on 18 September by giving away 100 premium 6+ marble score Wagyu Cheese burgers and including a two-for-one offer. Burger enthusiasts can also enter to win a year of burgers on Motto Motto’s Facebook and Instagram.

Motto Motto prides itself on selecting premium Australian ingredients and the new burger line-up incorporates Aussie farmed Wagyu beef, sow stall-free pork, prawn and lobster, and RSPCA-approved free-range chicken with Japanese-style sauces and accompaniments.
