The World Cup might be over, but for Sport Star Academy, the soccer action is just beginning in the US.

The kids’ sports coaching business will open its first American location in Boca Raton, Florida, at the end of August 2026. The launch marks the beginning of Sport Star Academy’s US expansion.

Founder and CEO, Peter Nikolakopoulos, said “Bringing Sport Star Academy to the United States has been years in the making. This comes as a full circle moment for me as I played College Soccer in the US.

“We’ve built this business from the ground up in Australia, refined our programs across four countries, and worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to get our systems, our coaching standards and our partnerships ready for a market as competitive as the US.

“Launching in Boca Raton, right off the back of the FIFA World Cup being played here, feels like the perfect moment. American families have never been more excited about soccer, and we’re proud to bring the same professionalism and quality-led approach to youth sport that has made us a trusted name for families across Australia, New Zealand, India and the UAE.”

While the business offer multiple sport streams, it will start with soccer in the US before adding further locations and sports.
