Taiwanese milk tea brand Milksha has opened its first standalone concept store in the Philippines, located in SM North Edsa, Manila.
Jollibee Food Group (JFC) acquired a majority stake in Milksha in 2021 and made some of its tea beverages initially available in select Chowking restaurants.
JFC CEO Joseph Tanbuntiong, said he believes Milksha can capture the evolving taste buds of Filipino milk tea fans.
“Milk tea has become such a big part of Filipino daily lives,” said Tanbuntiong. “What makes Milksha well-positioned for this market is its dedication to using fresh and premium natural ingredients and crafting unique, refreshing flavours.”
The new store brings a minimalist design accentuated by warm, earthy tones, offering customers a “cozy and inviting” ambience. In addition, the tea baristas received training in Taiwan to provide an elevated Taiwanese tea experience.
Milksha’s signature in-store offerings include the 3Q Milk Tea, Strawberry Coulis Milk, and Jasmine Green Tea with Cloudy Cream.
Milksha opened its first Sydney store in 2023, after launching in Melbourne in 2019. It now has three stores in the Victorian capital, and one in Brisbane.
