Battery World franchisees and cousins, Babar and Shahbaz Khan, have powered up their local cricket club with donations of more than $10,000 over four years.
The Belconnen and Gungahlin franchisees’ passion for the community is the driving force behind the sponsorships.
Babar Khan said “We’re proud to be sponsoring our local cricket team, the Canberra Chargers, to support the pro cricketers of the future and power their passion for the sport.
“We have been a part of the Belconnen community since 2021, and even in this time we have come to realise the pivotal role we play in servicing our local customers.
“Our customers are our main priority, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the look of relief on a customer’s face when we have successfully helped them with their battery needs.”
