Strong Pilates is set to launch in the US, unveiling its first flagship studio in Hermosa Beach, California this year. Plans are underway for studios in Texas, New York and Florida, with between five and eight studio locations in the pipeline.

Australian founders Michael Ramsey and Mark Armstrong will relocate to the company’s first international headquarters in Los Angeles.

Ramsey said “Our launch in the US is a monumental step. It’s our most ambitious expansion to date, and we’re eager to bring our revolutionary fitness concept to the US market and meet the demand for a unique format which will carve a new movement and fitness standard across the country.”

Armstrong said “We are currently taking expressions of interest in the U.S. for studio locations and growth partners to join our thriving fitness community.”
