Hybrid group fitness experience S30 Studio will open its first studio on the Sunshine Coast at Maroochydore on 25 May.

S30 Maroochydore will build on S30’s existing footprint across Queensland, which includes a studio on the Gold Coast.

Earlier this year, former Fitstop APAC CEO, Alan Myers joined S30. He established a Brisbane head office and is spearheading the brand’s rapid expansion in Queensland.

S30 Studio CEO and co-founder, Luke Faulkner predicts swift growth in the area.

Queensland expansion

“S30 Maroochydore is the start of an exciting journey for our studios in Queensland, as we begin our rapid expansion in the region. We’re thrilled to have Rhys and Jacob join us in opening our first studio in the Sunshine Coast and build our existing footprint across Brisbane and the Gold Coast,” he said.

S30 Maroochydore co-owner Rhys Willemse is a former professional downhill mountain bike racer who represented Australia.

“Since my early years as a professional downhill mountain bike racer, my passion for training has remained steadfast. With the opening of S30 in Maroochydore, we aim to deliver a truly unique training experience to people in the Sunshine Coast and support a positive movement in a world where every person is excited to train,” said Willemse.

Using a mix of music and movements, the S30 Studio progression-based training program features a collection of strength and conditioning hybrid classes. Each class provides a workout of 30 sets, across 18 stations, in under 45 minutes.
