MBE Worldwide, which purchased the Pack & Send business in 2021, has now fully acquired the New Zealand master licensee. The licensee has supported a network of 20 service centres.
The acquisition reinforces Pack & Send and MBE’s direct presence in the Oceania market and merges staff across ANZ into one trans-Tasman team.
Pack & Send NZ will continue to operate as an independent company within New Zealand but will report directly to the Australian business.
Acquisition will leverage economies of scale
Nicholas Woodward, country manager of Pack & Send Systems, said “The renewed direct involvement of Pack & Send in the operation and development of Pack & Send New Zealand will ensure ongoing alignment, drive further efficiency and create opportunities to leverage the economies of scale and experience that Pack & Send enjoys in the larger Australian market.
“We believe that this will help us improve our offering of value-added shipping and logistics solutions to customers across the Oceanian market.”
The courier and freight reseller, provides ecommerce, fulfillment, shipping and packing solutions through its network of 160 stores across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
MBE is a commerce-enablement platform providing e-commerce, fulfillment, shipping, marketing and print solutions to SMEs and consumers.
