Pack & Send is celebrating a mega milestone, the opening its first store in Sydney on 17 August back in 1993.

The business now has a network of more than 170 service centres across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

It achieved global system-wide sales of more than $100 million last financial year.

The solutions-based business has won a number of awards and achieved a high performance status in the franchising sector. Pack & Send has for four years held a 5-star rating on the Australian Franchise Rating.

In 2019 it won the MYOB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards Excellence in Marketing award.

This year ProductReview.com.au awarded the brand for its courier service. It is the fourth time in five years Pack & Send has scooped the award.

Pack & Send 30 years evolution

Reflecting on the brand’s growth, country manager Nicholas Woodward praised the franchisee network.

“It’s undeniable that without our dedicated team of franchise partners, Pack & Send would not be the best rated courier service provider.

“Every single franchise partner maintains the core principles that were established in 1993 and continues to contribute to the growing ability to provide customers with access to the world’s top courier and freight carriers.”

Founder and former CEO, Michael Paul, created the business to help consumers package and send items of any size. Now a significant part of the Pack & Send business is sourced through online retailers.

Today the parent company is MBE Worldwide, a multi-brand location-based network of over 3,150 Business Solution Centres in 52 countries.

The global company acquired the Aussie-born business in 2021.
