Cinnabon will set up its first location in Western Australia in Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City, with a mid-August opening date.
Brett Higgins, managing director of Boxx Brands, which owns the rights for Cinnabon in Western Australia, said the company was very selective about its first location.
“Selecting Lakeside Joondalup for our first store is a strategic move. This centre attracts close to 10 million people a year, is a major shopping destination but is also conveniently situated near the train station, making it easily accessible for everyone.”
The upcoming store will be Cinnabon’s 15th location in Australia and the first of 20 sites planned for WA.
Higgins said “There will be Cinnabon branded sweatshirts to give away for the first 50 customers on opening morning, along with some great product giveaways.”
The Seattle-born sweet treat business now has nearly 2,000 stores across over 50 countries.
