FCA CEO Mary Aldred to head up Fujitsu advocacy

Outgoing Franchise Council of Australia CEO Mary Aldred will take up an advocacy role at Fujitsu, in February 2023.

Aldred recently announced her upcoming departure from the franchise association and her move to an undisclosed business role.

Fujitsu announced the move on LinkedIn, welcoming Aldred to the firm ahead of her 2023 arrival.

As head of government relations for Asia Pacific, Aldred will lead and develop Fujitsu’s government advocacy and engagement strategies at federal and state government levels.

In the LinkedIn post, Fujitsu said “Mary will bring a wealth of experience in government relations, public policy, issue management and strategic communications to Fujitsu, having held senior executive roles in both private and public sectors. She has also served on a number of boards and government advisory committees.

“We look forward to working with Mary when she officially joins us in the New Year.”
