Aussie gelato brand Gelatissimo is celebrating two decades since it launched its gelato offer into Singapore’s Shaw Centre in 2005.
Gelatissimo landed in the city state just three years after opening its first store in Sydney. Today the brand has four further outlets in Singapore, including one at Jewel Changi Airport.
It has an international footprint across the Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and the US.
Gelatissimo’s general manager, international, Scott Leith, said “We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our community through new flavours, consistent quality, exciting events, and a heartfelt nod to our roots at Shaw Centre.”
George Lim, Head of real estate at Shaw House commented on the milestone.
“Gelatissimo has been a cherished part of Shaw House for two decades, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with them. As a valued tenant and a key contributor to our F&B community on Orchard Road, their dedication to quality, craft, and customer experience has continually elevated the vibrancy of our precinct. We congratulate Gelatissimo on 20 successful years and look forward to supporting their continued growth and shared success at Shaw House.”
The gelato chain has mixed its Australian heritage with Singapore’s culinary spirit to introduce locally- inspired gelato flavours such as Mandarin, Durian, Ondeh Ondeh, and Mango Sticky Rice.
