The global KFC brand is modernising, refreshing its restaurant design, updating its branding, and evolving its menu.

At store level, the fast food giant is introducing new restaurant formats designed to elevate KFC’s dining experience. These next-gen restaurants include an immersive, bold design, two-storey restaurant in Dubai, and in Texas, an open-concept design that reinterprets the brand’s heritage.

KFC is giving its visual identity a refresh, evolving its most recognised assets to feel more relevant and aligned with modern culture. The bucket, and the Colonel, are subtly updated in branding displayed in packaging, digital platforms, advertising and restaurant environments.

The QSR is also innovating its menu, exploring more customisation and flavour.

New options include chicken tenders served with a choice of 20 sauces – the Dipped range. KFC’s Dunked range of tenders, wings, and sandwiches coated in sauce is already available in South Africa and India.

The beverage platform, Kwench, that includes boba drinks, sparkling lemonade, and iced coffee is in select locations in the UK and Ireland and will move from pilot to permanent menu in Australia and Canada this year.

Scott Mezvinsky, CEO, KFC Global said “In an increasingly crowded category, we have a clear opportunity to set the standard for modern chicken in QSR,” said. “This next chapter brings new energy and expression to what makes us iconic, while doubling down on our chicken and reimagining how fans experience KFC around the world.”

In the coming weeks, the global rollout is expected to expand across Australia and the US with additional markets following through 2026.
